First within my speech I will be examining the main purpose of this commercial which is to obviously sell the google brand or more specifically the google home device. They try to portray that the device is essential to those that want to remember the very important details about their life. They emphasize and almost overuse the strategy of pathos within this commercial. It is so emotional that you almost want to cry. It expresses a man losing his wife and wanting to remember everything about her. The nonspecific part of this commercial is that they are trying to show you what the google device can be used for, therefore, the not direct purpose of this ad.
